WiFi the service of surfing the net has been launched thus passengers could contact through the net with high speed using the portable personal computers and the digital personal assistance in all places of the airport. After the recent expansion of the airport two sites equipped with a number of computers have been opened to provide free of charge net services.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the airport except in smoking rooms in the transit and departure halls of the ground and first floor. There are also rooms in the waiting halls of the first class and business class passengers. This is in compliance with the Qatari Law number (20) year 2002 which states that: smoking is strictly prohibited outside the designated areas and an offender shall be charged 150 USD or imprisoned for up to 6 months or both penalties.
