The airport has two depature terminals. Terminal A is a dedicated departure terminal for Qatar Airways and has 60 check-in desks whereas Terminal B is used by Other Airlines and offers 35 check-in desks. Check-in opens 3 hours prior to departure and closes one hour before departure for economy class passengers and 45 minutes for first and business class passengers (depending on airlines). Each counter is equipped with a screen that shows details of flights in Arabic and English language.

Separate passengers check-in counters  for  economy class, business class and first class as well as  for holders of silver and gold cards are available thus making procedures much easier.

It is recommended that you arrive at the airport roughly three hours before departure. This may vary depending on your airport of departure. Please contact your departure airport or a local airline office during your reconfirmation to check if check-in times materially differ from our suggested three-hours.

The check-in counter closes at least one hour prior to departure, thus it is imperative that you arrive to check-in for your flight on-time. Under an hour, both the flight and baggage check-in are subject to closure. The gate normally closes 20 minutes prior to departure. This could vary depending on your departure airport.

 Airline staffs are trained to provide quick & efficient check-in. If passengers require any special assistance to their departure gates, staff will be happy to escort you to the gate. If your travel takes you through Doha, Qatar for a connecting flight, you will be met by representatives to assist you with flight connections upon arrival in Doha.
